These Terms of Use apply to your access to, and participation in, the Penelope Frills Reward Program (“Penelope Frills") which is operated by Penelope, Inc., or its respective subsidiaries, licensees and affiliated companies (collectively, “Penelope") throughout the United States of America. Penelope reserves the right to change, modify and/or eliminate Penelope Frills Rewards and/or all or any portion of these Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to Penelope Frills Reward Program at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to www.penelope.com. By accepting these terms and conditions, you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your participation in Penelope Frills Rewards Programs confirms your acceptance of these Terms of Use and any such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms of Use frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to the Penelope Frills Rewards Program. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, you must stop participating in Penelope Frills Rewards Program immediately.
The Penelope Frills Rewards Program is intended for personal use only. Commercial use is prohibited. This program is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may only use Penelope Frills Rewards Program under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use.
Penelope Frills Rewards Program is one way that Penelope rewards our loyal customers for purchasing products from Penelope. Members of the Penelope Frills Rewards Program are able to earn and accumulate “Frills” that can be redeemed at Penelope Store Locations. Unfortunately, Online purchases do not have any effect, collection or redemption of your Frills membership at this time.
There are two (2) ways to enroll in Penelope Frills Rewards Program:
- In-store. Visit any Penelope store location and one of our personal shoppers will be happy to walk through the simple enrollment process with you.
- Online. Visit Penelope.com/Frills and you can enroll online by using our enrollment form.
The registration process may require that you provide the following information: username, password, email address, physical address, telephone number, birthday, name, marketing preferences, purchase preferences, and special dates including but not limited to anniversaries.
The benefits that are available to you through Penelope Frills Rewards Program are based on the number of dollars spent in a given time. To earn Frills, you must use spend a net dollar value of $100 (net including total quarter spend minus taxes, returns, gift cards, discount cards, store credit, Frill Rewards and or any cash-like tender) in a specific earnings period. For everything net $100 spent, you will receive a $5 worth of “Frills” to be redeem. Fills will be awarded through email and/or by postcard.
If a customer chooses to unsubscribe or opt-out of communications with Penelope, they risk the failure of delivery for their Frills / rewards. Penelope, Inc. is accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act, Penelope offers an unsubscribe and opt-out option on all email and text communication.
Penelope Frills rewards accrue over set periods of time. The accrual/earning periods are as follows:
January 1 – March 31
April 1 – June 30
July 1 – September 30
October 1 – December 31
Penelope reserves the right to alter including shortening and/or extending accrual periods, as they see fit and with or without notice to accommodate promotions, events, annual changes in calendar, week day structure, holidays, or to accommodate business needs.
There are no membership fees associated with Penelope Frills. Penelope Frills, points, dollars, perks or any other currency derivative accumulated under the program are promotional and have no cash value.
Your Penelope Frills Rewards are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used by you for any commercial purpose.
Without notice, Penelope reserves the right to suspend your Penelope Frills Rewards account and/or your participation in Program if Penelope determines in its sole discretion that you have violated these Terms of Use, the use of your account is unauthorized, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful. Penelope may, in its sole discretion, suspend, cancel or combine accounts that appear to be duplicative. In the event that your participation in Penelope Frills is terminated, then all accumulated rewards in your account are void and non-transferrable.
Without notice to you, Penelope also reserves the right to “unregister" and make ineligible for the Penelope Frills Rewards program any Frills account that has been inactive for two (2) consecutive years. Inactive is defined as no transactions credited toward your account.
Penelope reserves the right to terminate, discontinue or cancel the Penelope Frills Rewards program at any time and in its sole discretion without notice.
